Worship Leader Volunteer
ROLE SUMMARY
We’re looking for a Spirit-led, humble worship leader to serve our church ‘ohana as a volunteer. This role is all about creating space for our community to worship God with authenticity and unity. If you have a heart for Jesus, a love for people, and a passion for worship, this could be a beautiful way to serve.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead our congregation in worship during Sunday services and special gatherings, helping to create a welcoming and Spirit-filled atmosphere.
Work with the worship team to plan and rehearse music weekly, nurturing both musical excellence and spiritual growth.
Collaborate with the pastor and leaders to ensure the worship flows with the message and theme of each service.
Encourage and disciple team members with grace, patience, and aloha.
Embrace worship styles that reflect both contemporary Christian music and the beauty of our local culture.
REQUIREMENTS
A committed follower of Jesus who understands that worship is more than music—it’s a lifestyle.
Musically skilled (vocals and/or instrument), with a desire to grow and help others grow.
A team player with a humble heart, open to feedback and collaboration.
Someone who feels called to serve God and their community through worship.
